Valentine’s Day

Fred outdid himself this Valentine’s Day, it being the first one we’ve actually been geographically together. These beautiful purple orchids were delivered to me on Friday and simply made me smile the biggest smile. He surprised me with everything. I thought we were just out doing errands then having dinner at home. When he started being funny about the time, my suspicions were raised. We left the mall and ended up at the Historic Kell House for a Victorian Valentine’s celebration including homemade chocolates and bubbly champagne, yum.  I thought that was it. We get home and he tells me to get dressed for dinner. We end up at a great family owned greek restaurant, Hibiscus. I knew I was in for more when Fred ordered coffee at the end of the meal. As the owner brought it and some baklava over, she leaned in and said, “Your meal is covered, someone in the restaurant wanted to treat you.” As if the day couldn’t get any better. How sweet is that? I guess we were just being extra special cute and love was in the air? Well, I love random acts of kindness. We left Hibiscus and arrived at our final destination, the Wichita Falls Symphony Orchestra. A soprano and tenor performed a variety of incredible love songs. Excuse me while I go swoon over the best boyfriend ever.
