At the start of the shoot I said to Meegan, “There is nothing more nerve wracking than taking photos of another photographer.” “Really?” she replied. “Uh no,” I said pretending that I meant nothing of it. I smiled nervously. But in my head I though, “She knows what I’m up to,” as if photographers could read their peers minds. Lucky for me, the nerves wore off in about 2 minutes. I had a ton of fun photographing Meegan of Photography by Meegan, her hubby Chris, and her 18 month old son Aydin. When I first met Chris I was convinced he didn’t like me, being a democratic vegetarian from New Jersey and all – there were rumors of forced steak eating! I kid I kid! As for Aydin, the kid is simply adorable. He is going to break many hearts with those big baby blue eyes. And those dance moves! This family’s love for each other is so evident in the hugs, kisses, laughter, and jumps for joy :)

They were told to sit next to each other in class at Texas A&M, by Connie I believe. That is simply how it started, and now they are married :) I went with Photography by Meegan to shoot Chelsy and Vance’s wedding at the Wichita Falls Museum of Art. The ceremony was to be held outside but got called in for rain. Turned out there was no rain but a ton of wind, so it was a good thing! Thanks everyone for braving the wind for the outside shots, even though I love the inside gallery shots too :) Chelsy and Vance – you are such a sweet couple, thank you for letting me capture some special moments on your wedding day!

Happy Friday! For just about everyone this means the end of the working week, but not for me! I am super excited to be shooting a wedding with Meegan Weaver tomorrow at the Wichita Falls Museum of Art, which sounds like an amazing venue! I am thankful to have found such a great photographer to work with, as well as finding a great friend :) Thanks for everything girl! Here’s a photo of Meegan and me at the last wedding we shot. Layce and Ryan had a fabulous photobooth that we took full advantage of! Too bad they didn’t have the props in there yet, or we could’ve looked even more ridiculous!
