If you want to see my brief stint in modeling you can find it here at a older post she carried over from her last blog.

Jaci & Dusty : Married

I was so thrilled to go with Photography by Meegan to Greystone Castle in Mingus, Texas to photograph Jaci and Dusty’s wedding. I love love love outdoor weddings and knew this one would be especially fabulous! Jaci has an incredible sense of style and the personality and laugh to boot! Plus she’s a smart girl. Not only book smart, the girl’s in nursing school. (Put me in Bio 101 and I wouldn’t last a minute!) But she’s also common sense smart for having the brilliant wedding coordinator Dayna of Events by Dayna keep everything right on track. The day was flawless. It was simple but there was such an immense attention payed to detail. It was also refreshing not to have just one or two wedding colors. Deep plum, bright orange, turquoise, gold, dark brown. Jaci did an amazing job at coordinating and contrasting her colors. Everything turned out beautifully. As the sun sank low in the sky the guests sat in the shaded courtyard. The air was buzzing with the anticipation of Jaci’s arrival. She did not disappoint. She glidded down the aisle bringing an incredible energy and enthusiasm with her. And a smile to Dusty’s face. As the ceremony preceded there was a calm and a contentment felt by all. This was right. A collective internal smile that brimmed to everyone’s lips when the two became husband and wife.

Jaci and Dusty, you are both beautiful and loving people inside and out. I wish you all the happiness in the world!

I urge people to bring props to photoshoots…Jaci hulled this turquoise door to the castle for us to use for detail shots! LOVE it! Major brownie points to you!

Her grandmother’s earings that she wore for the ceremony…

This deep purple asymmetrical bouquet by Philip Combs Design of Fort Worth was seriously amazing! The quail feathers are from one of Dusty’s hunts!

Jaci’s engagement ring was also her Grandmother’s…

I love a happy, chatting, smiling bride! I felt like I had known Jaci for years :) Thank you for making me feel so welcome.

Jaci’s sister Jen was her matron of honor. This family knows how to laugh!

Dusty has some seriously amazing hazel eyes!

I heart real honest to goodness scrunchy face laughter.

Dazzle Entertainment provided the music to swoon by…

The wedding cake was beautiful but this armadillo grooms cake by Let Them Eat Cake was unreal! They cut off the tail and it was red cake inside! Looked a little too real!
