The Kea Family is my last Christmas shoot this year! It’s been a busy season and I am so very thankful for that! The Kea’s were a fun bunch despite how cold it was this morning! Shawn is quite the character – a fun dad and a hilarious guy! Thanks for braving the cold with me and for a fun shoot!
And Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I’m headed to Ohio in the morning to visit family and be a guest (gasp!) at my cousin Tim’s wedding! So, see you all on Monday ;)

I decided that my nerves for photographing other photographers had finally worn off when I jumped into the Long’s car to head out to their friend’s farm in Iowa Park. It was such a huge relief to get a change of scenery both emotionally and photographically. To clients: I know you trust me with finding locations but if you know of a friend with a farm, have a cool house, or saw an awesome spot in an open field…tell me about it! I’m totally open to new places and places that mean something to you! I had a blast on the farm and didn’t really want to leave at the end of the evening! It was too much fun to be chased by dogs, horses, and hens while shooting ;) Thanks Long Family for taking me out of my box, I had an awesome time!

The Vanderburg’s are so sweet, love being outside, and didn’t complain once about the cold this morning. They all had fun just being together: tickling, hugging, kissing and snuggling. Olivia, the little girl, was such a sweetheart wanting me to hold her hand and we walked and carry her! What a friendly girl! Thanks for a great shoot!
