Karissa and Steve met in the most romantic of ways, dancing. Swing dancing to be exact. Though they were unable to give me the show that I so badly wanted to photograph (due to Karissa’s long train) I would bet money that they are fabulous at it! Observing them together throughout the day, I picked up on their connection, their chemistry, how they play off one another. Much like you do in Swing. The man leads, the women follows. And Karissa told me Steve is a terrific lead. I see how well he leads her, but she keeps him (and the audience!) on their toes.
While they got ready Steve and Karissa were outwardly calm. But as soon as Karissa floated down the aisle of the church, Steve’s tears began to flow. I don’t think they truly stopped for the entirety of the ceremony because when it came time for Steve to repeat his vows, he was still choked up. It was so beautiful. Karissa has her own way of expressing herself, through her adorable little face. She made the sweetest, cutest, most adorable faces! I loved watching how she and Steve play off each other, it’s an endearing little game to watch. I am so honored to be the one to capture these little moments on the first day of their life together. Congratulations to you both, I know you will live a long and happy life together, forever worshiping one other just as you so sweetly did on your wedding day.

I love how Karissa’s Mom’s hand snuck into the frame to comfort her and to remind her how beautiful she is…

See, she has the cutest laugh!

First moments as husband and wife!

You two make quite a gorgeous couple!

This is my favorite photo of the day. Completely candid. How sweet is Steve? I love people in love :)

And now for the most adorable cake cutting photos ever. Yes, ever.

And a classic leave, birdseed and bubbles! Congrats again you love birds!
